I have over 10 years of experience at the intersections of engagement, planning, research and communications. I love working collaboratively to bring projects to life, especially when they relate to placemaking, food, community-building, and storytelling. A common thread in much of my work is food systems planning, intercultural planning, community and urban planning, and civic participation.
With an eye to equity, diversity and inclusion, I have been privileged to work with and for a wide range of organizations and audiences. I have experience in the public sector, private sector, and nonprofit sector, working with arts, advocacy, multicultural, and grassroots organizations. I hold a MA in Planning from UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning, and a Bachelor of Environment from the University of Waterloo. I was born and raised in Edmonton/Amiskwacîwâskahikan, Treaty 6 Territory and Métis Region Zone 4, and currently live here with my family.
I am also a poet, writer, and the co-editor and co-founder of Hungry Zine, an award-winning, community-focused food publication.
